本書共分為4章：第1章闡述能源、氣候、生物多樣性三者之間的相互作用關系，揭示了以化石能源為主導的傳統(tǒng)能源發(fā)展方式是導致氣候變化和生物多樣性喪失的重要影響因素。第2章論述以能源轉(zhuǎn)型應對氣候變化、保護生物多樣性的必要性，闡述以全球能源互聯(lián)網(wǎng)推動世界能源變革轉(zhuǎn)型的總體思路和實施路徑，并從促進全球碳減排、減少棲息地破壞、助力生態(tài)修復等方面，剖析全球能源互聯(lián)網(wǎng)對應對氣候變化、保護生物多樣性的全局性促進作用。第3章圍繞就地保護、遷地保護和生態(tài)修復等三個方面，提出電力工程建設中保護生物多樣性的 11 項重要措施，并介紹了采取上述措施的典型案例和實施成效，為各方開展相關工作提供參考，搭建了從目標到行動的橋梁。第4章從政策、資金、技術、合作、行動5個維度，提出推動能源—氣候—生物多樣性協(xié)同治理的16項政策建議，提升工作系統(tǒng)性、整體性和協(xié)同性，推動各方共同保護生物多樣性。
