雕漆是把天然漆料在胎上涂抹出一定厚度,再用刀在堆起的平面漆胎上雕刻花紋的技法。雕漆工藝是中國漆工藝的一個重要門類,也是北京傳統(tǒng)工藝美術的精華之一。它體現(xiàn)了我國工藝美術家的高超技藝和聰明才智,是中華民族傳統(tǒng)工藝的瑰寶。雕漆與景泰藍、象牙雕刻、玉雕齊名,被譽為京城工藝“四大名旦”之一。
